Andy and Kerri Adams ran the London Marathon in 2006 for FSID in memory of their baby daughter Teisha Jade Adams.
Here is a quote from Andy to express their feelings about the event:
"It was one of the most traumatic days of our lives, running the Marathon in memory of our little angel Teisha Jade Adams, who sadly passed away at only eight weeks old in December 2004 to cot death. So much hard work and effort had gone into the eight months training, and crossing the finish line was our only goal. Afterwards we were both extremely emotional, not just with the memories, but also the realisation of what we’d accomplished.
We would like to thank everybody at FSID, not only for their support but for also giving us this fantastic opportunity. "
They have designed a magnificent banner to commemorate the day.
