Silver wedding anniversary celebrations 

David and Valerie Harrison of Wigan held a dinner party to celebrate their silver wedding anniversary and asked for donations to FSID in memory of their eldest daughter Claire, who died from cot death back in 1989 instead of receiving presents. A total of £310 was raised, all of which was gift aided, increasing the donation by a further £86.80. I n recognition of the amount raised, Davids employers, The Royal Bank of Scotland Group, made a community cashback award of £250. The total amount raised therefore was £646.80.

David commented "If this money raised goes towards saving other parents from suffering the heartbreak which we suffered back in 1989, then it will be well worthwhile. I would also like to thank RBS for their support to a worthy cause".
