Bacteria and SIDS
Dr Martin Weber and colleagues at London’s Great Ormond Street Hospital received an FSID grant to review autopsy results to determine the extent to which infection was a cause of sudden unexpected infant deaths. This was recently published in the Lancet (1) with a good amount of media interest. This article also references other published papers on SIDS and bacteria.
